About Kim De Vine

Kim De Vine

Chartered Financial Planner

Kim specialises in advising Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, Directors and Key Personnel within businesses who are within 10-15 years of retirement, to provide solutions to not only help to prepare for retirement but also to maximise available tax relief and allowances. Kim can help you understand how your existing arrangements, including historic money purchase and defined benefit / final salary pensions, will fit into your overall retirement plan and help you to mitigate tax along the way.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.

The levels and bases of taxation, and reliefs from taxation, can change at any time. The value of any tax relief depends on individual circumstances.

About

Kim is a Chartered Financial Planner with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her financial services career in 2006 working alongside experienced financial advisers and qualified as an adviser herself in 2011 before setting up Kim De Vine Financial Planning in 2020. Kim is committed to giving professional advice in a customer friendly manner. She is passionate about making a difference in clients’ lives. She provides personalised and bespoke financial advice to each of her clients, helping them to build and protect their wealth through Pension Planning, Investment Planning, Protection Planning and ultimately Inheritance Tax Planning. This includes reviewing existing pension and investment arrangements, formulating a plan for the future and discussing the impact of complex tax and pension rules such as the Tapered Annual Allowance for higher earners.

In a fast changing world this cannot and should not be a one off process and so a key part of the service includes regular review and forward planning meetings. Kim focuses on building and maintaining long-term, trusted relationships with her clients and shows distinct quality, integrity and excellence, which in turn gives her clients financial peace of mind.

Outside of work Kim likes to spend quality time with her family and enjoys listening to audio books and taking long walks with her dog Buster. She also enjoys yoga, puzzles, spreadsheets and board games.

What most people don’t know about Kim? Her Degree was in Illustration before a love of maths brought her into financial services.
